- The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources
System is a network of 19 Associate and 4 Specialized
Centers in Florida which provides support services
to educators, parents, and other professionals
who work with exceptional students.

Resources for Florida Exceptional Student Education
- This website, developed by the Center for Performance
Technology at Florida State University, is designed
to assist Florida teachers of students with disabilities
in implementing the Florida Sunshine State Standards,
including the standards for Special Diploma. Resources
available on this website include: the ESE Instruction
Manager, Life-Prep Curriculum, Accommodations,
and a Glossary. It also provides information on
contacting the Center for Performance Technology
at Florida State University.

Network on Disabilities of Florida
- Family Network on Disabilities of Florida, Inc.
is a statewide alliance of individuals with disabilities,
special needs, or at-risk and their families.
Our mission is to provide family-driven support,
education, information, and advocacy.

referrals to families and individuals with disabilities.
A 24 hour / 7 day a week hotline is available
free of charge for English, Spanish, French and
Creole speaking families in need of crisis and
emotional support.

Program (at Crandon Park)
- This is held free of charge for physically
disabled elementary and middle school children
with a moderate to high cognitive level. Please

Hospitals
- Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network
of pediatric specialty hospitals, founded by the
Shrine, where children under the age of 18 receive
excellent medical care absolutely free of charge.

Hospital
- MCH offers world-renowned excellence in comprehensive
pediatric services for children from birth to
age 21. In addition to hospital clinical services,
Miami Children's Hospital supports over 40 pediatric
specialties and sub-specialties .

Ventilation-Assisted Children's Center (VACC)
- Miami Children's Hospital VACC Camp is held
each April in Miami, Florida and hosts families
from around the United States, as well as families
from Miami-Dade and surrounding South Florida
counties.
