The Children's Clinic,
owned and operated by Healis, offers comprehensive pediatric
and adult services.
Since our official opening in March of 2000, we have expanded
our services to include home health care in Miami, Fort-Lauderdale and Kissimmee, Florida.
Our Clinic is conveniently located at 18001 Old Cutler Rd,
Suite 368, Palmetto Bay, Florida 33157.
We specialize in the therapeutic intervention of various
neurological, orthopedic and developmental disorders.
Appointments for physical, occupational
and speech therapy evaluations and treatments can be
scheduled through our main office by calling

We also provide the following services:
screenings, wheelchair evaluations, equipment consultations,
splinting and orthotic fitting in our office.

Offer:
Hippotherapy:
a specialized form of physical therapy which uses a horse as a
therapy tool to address the movement disorders associated with
various neurological and neuromuscular conditions.
A hippotherapy treatment is conducted
by a licensed and specially trained health care provider,
most often a Physical or Occupational Therapist or Speech
Language Pathologist.
Hippotherapy is not a new or experimental
form of therapy. It was first introduced in Europe following
two epidemics of poliomyelitis after World War II, and
has been recognized since then as a highly beneficial
mode of treatment.
Aqua Therapy: Physical or Occupational
therapy in the water improves flexibility, range of motion, and
strengthens and tones muscles without hurting vulnerable joints.
Aqua therapy can benefit any type of rehabilitation, especially for
individuals who are not ready to perform exercises affected by
gravity and weight-bearing tolerance.
